Explaining how in no place was Satan stated as being ‘alive’ in the lake of fire and sulfur.

Rather, Holy Scripture states that here only mankind (the beast which includes false prophet – ref. Revelation 19:18-20) were thrown ‘alive’ into the ‘lake of fire and sulfur’ (aka ‘judged as very wicked’).

The Devil (Lucifer/Satan) rather, was literally destroyed when he was judged as very wicked (‘thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur’) – and this was and is his torment forever and ever.

Revelation 20:9-10 and 19:18-20 are part of parallel passages which help give us the full account of what happened in this matter on judgement day.

Revelation 19:18-20 describe kings and men as forming the ‘beast’, and this includes the ‘false prophet’.

These worldly men are the ones whom make war on the saints which can be described as ‘soldiers’ (ref 2 Timothy 2:3) which form an army, and also on the camp of the saints (Jerusalem) in Revelation 20:8-9.

These worldly men (the beast) are described as being thrown ‘alive’ into the lake of fire and sulfur; they were judged as very wicked here;

And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
Revelation 19:20 ESV

One will note that Satan isn’t mentioned in Revelation 19:18-20, as he isn’t the beast which includes the false prophet (men which form the second beast of Revelation 13:11-14).

To understand what happened to Satan we look at the other piece of the puzzle in Revelation 20:9-10;

‘…fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
(Revelation 20:9‭-‬10 NASB2020)

Here, Holy Scripture is very specific.

Wicked mankind (the beast including false prophet) whom were spoken of in Revelation 19:18-20 which were thrown (judged) ‘alive’ into the lake of fire and sulphur, are mentioned as being there.

Holy Scripture then deliberately leaves out the word ‘alive’ when speaking of Satan being thrown into the lake of fire (judged).

There reason for the omission of the word ‘alive’, and it is as per the rest of Holy Scripture: Satan was judged and literally destroyed, thus not thrown ‘alive’ into the lake of fire, but destroyed and his ‘ashes’ were figurativley thrown in;

‘…I brought fire out from your midst; it consumed you, and I turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all who saw you.
(Ezekiel 28:18 ESV)
&
All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.”
Ezekiel 28:19 ESV
&
‘…You will be sought, but you will never again be found, declares the Sovereign LORD.”’
(Ezekiel 26:21 NIV)
