A Confirmation The Underworld Was Destroyed

There is no spiritual existence in an underworld with satan or any fallen angellic being, or demon that is accounted for in any Holy Scripture, since death (how we all die individually) and hades (the spiritual underworld that death leads to) surrendered (‘…gave up…’) the dead that filled them both over to judgement (Revelation 20:13).

Death and Hades were then thrown in to the lake of fire, and were from that point on deemed dissolved (with regard to how the reincarnation process works) and destroyed by the fire (context regarding spiritual places, burned up by spiritual fire; 2 Peter 3:7, 3:10-12) – Sheol/Hades thus forfeiting it’s rights over the dead; the lake that burns with fire was then declared to be the second death (Revelation 20:14, 21:8).

Ezekiel 32:22-30 states that after this happened in (Ezekiel 32:15), mortal people who sin (’caused terror’) and who died above in the new earth (‘the land of the living’), then come back down to this earth, the lake of fire (as since the pit/Sheol/Hades was thrown into the lake of fire (this earth) and destroyed (Revelation 20:14). This progression is how the prophetic books are interpreted)).

Ezekiel 32:12-15 states that when ‘beasts’ (men who came from the underworld; the pride of Sheol Hades (fig. Egypt)) on this earth, they never go back down (as it has been destroyed); as it then says, the foot of man and the hoof of beast (literal) will not trouble these judged people from sheol hades that are on the earth (lake of fire) any more – in the sense that sheol hades (spiritual places) were destroyed in the lake of fire (Rev 20:14) and these people never go there (the underworld underneath this earth), where with perspective those on this earth figuratively could be seen as walking on them with their feet and hoves if they were below in Sheol Hades; instead of going down, people here now go up (Isaiah 65:20).

Ezekiel 32:15 then confirms Sheol Hades (fig. Egypt) is destroyed and ‘desolate’ (ESV), much like how Ezekiel 29:11-12 poetically confirm it is ‘uninhabbited’ and a ‘desolation’ for ‘forty years’ (‘forty years‘ a biblical length of time signifying ‘completion’ (ref. Numbers 32:13) – thus, ‘completely uninhabited and a desolation’)).

Same Plane: This Earth

Matthew 25:31-33 tells us that all the dead (i.e. of the underworld; pit/Sheol/Hades) were to be judged and then sent either to the new earth above (v.34) if they passed in judgement, or of they did not pass in judgement; to the same eternal fire (the lake of fire and/or brimstone) where Satan and his fallen angels were to be judged (literally destroyed) forever and ever (v.41).

The fire is on the same plane (level) for both spirit creatures and mankind – this is said as Satan’s destruction came about at the fire of Armageddon, where he was thrown into the lake of fire, and this was on the land where he laid rest (Ezekiel 29:5, 32:4, 34:4, Revelation 20:9-10).

The fire of Armageddon in the lake of fire represented (re: literal spiritual destruction for spirit beings (Revelation 18:2, 18:8-9 re: spirits trapped in a burning city), whereas to mankind the lake of fire represents wrath/judgement (sinful conditions – ref. Isaiah 9:18-11) as expressed as symbollic fire.

Further this entire old earth is also described from the perspective of space, with no underworld to be noted at all in Revelation 15:2, after it resembles the lake of fire – it says;

And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands.
Revelation 15:2 ESV

Explanation;
• The Sea (the terrestrial level, where the pre-judged population are)
of glass (they are covering the earth, like a flat sheet of glass)
• mingled with fire (they have all been judged),
• G-d’s people who are ressurected from the dead, are standing outside the earth (the lake of fire and brimstone) to the side of it – seperate;

This illistrates the lake of fire and brimstone.

Created Spirits Were Destroyed

On that day the LORD will punish the host of heaven, in heaven, and the kings of the earth, on the earth. They will be gathered together as prisoners in a pit; they will be shut up in a prison, and after many days they will be punished.
Isaiah 24:21‭-‬22 ESV

Created spiritual being(s) such as Satan (Lucifer) were destroyed at Armageddon when spiritual fire (judgement) came down from heaven, and he was thrown into the Lake of fire and brimstone (Ezekiel 28:18-19, Revelation 20:9-10, 19:2, 19:20, Isaiah 24:21-22). The rest of the spirit creatures whom were in the underworld (Sheol Hades) perished in the spiritual fire of the lake of fire (Revelation 20:13, 20:15);

‘…fire…consumed you…turned you to ashes…you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.”’
(Ezekiel 28:18-19 ESV).

(Recommended Reading: ‘Satan’s (Lucifer’s) Judgedment: Ashes, And No More Forever (Ezekiel 28:18-19 Peaceably Shared).’.

We read that both spirit creatures and mankind were imprisoned together in the underworld (pit/Sheol/Hades) until judgement in Isaiah 24:21-22.

We then read that this happened around the time of Armageddon at the great judgement (Revelation 20:9-10, 20:13-15), when the underworld was emptied into the figurative lake of fire (this earth).

With this, we learn that the underworld (which is a spiritual place), was emptied, made desolate and destroyed in Ezekiel 32:15, as this earth (the lake of fire) has now become the place where mankind who have died above on the new earth are sent (ref. Ezekiel 26:19 re: reincarnation). Thus the spiritual creatures that aligned them selves with Satan also were literally destroyed as a consequence in the spiritual fire which symbolically represents the judgement of G-d. The fact that no communication or even visitation can be had with any spirit creature today is in support of this.

The Living Here Went To The Lake Of Fire And Brimstone Without Dying.

The lake of fire and brimstone is a classification/descriptive term for all who worshipped the beast and its image, and recieved the mark of the beast (Revelation 19:20, 20:10, 14:9-11).

The people who were actually living on the earth at the time of Armageddon at the great judgement, are also referred to as ‘dead’ despite being alive (ref. Luke 9:60) – that is, they were ‘those who are subject to death’ (as per the Greek word G3498’s legal usage according to Strong’s concordance).

These are thus referred to as the dead that the ‘sea’ gave up (Revelation 20:12) – they were actually alive on the earth though judged at the same time and simply re-classified/described as being in the lake of fire and brimstone.

A live transition of status from lake of fire, to lake that burns with fire and sulfur – as these recieved the mark of the beast (Revelation 19:20).

The Dead Of The Former Underworld Went To The Lake Of Fire

Revelation 20:13 tells us that the dead (spirit people) from the spiritual underworld (sheol/hades), faced judgement outcomes which were;

a) the lake of fire, being this old earth where (we are now)
or
b) the new earth above, if their name was written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 20:15).

What Are The Afterlife Outcomes We Can Expect At Judgement?

The lambs ‘book of life’ is the end of the matter for all (Revelation 20:15); if a person’s name is not written in it, they are described as designated and allocated to and for the lake of fire and/or sulfur – where;

• if they die here in the lake of fire and brimstone, and they recieved the mark of the beast and sinned quite alot; such people’s names are not in the book of life.
They exist for a potentially long time above, though are not as blessed in the new earth above (ref. Isaiah 65:20; re: ‘…sinner…accursed…’), before ‘reincarnating’ back to the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15, 21:8).

or,

• if they did quite well (good deeds, and even believing the gospel (Romans 10:9-10)) on this old earth (the lake of fire), if they also peacably repented of the mark of the beast or never received it at all – and then they die here; their name is likley found written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Such people can perhaps exist for a potentially long life of up to circa 1,000 years according to commentary on Isaiah 65:20 (ref. IBN Ezra on Isaiah 65:20), which is more blessed.

This outcome still requires such a person to be ‘reincarnated’ back to the lake of fire here after such, into a body of flesh though.

This is because when they where above in the new earth – they were mortal.

This is what it means when it says these need ‘payment’ for the water of life (ref. Revelation 21:6).

Technically, they did not believe in G-d and in Messiah (Christ) (Isaiah 50:10, John 14:1) and observe the law of Moses (Romans 3:31 ESV) when they were in the lake of fire, before their long lifespan in the new earth above; they did not obtain grace (Acts 15:11) at their judgement which would mean a ressurection to everlasting life without end  in the new heavens and new earth (Isaiah 28:16, Ephesians 2:22, John 3:14-16).

Hoping it is fruitful with you.
