Brief Summary

This explanation of shares how Holy Scripture tells us that the created being know also referred to as a man – ‘the Lord Jesus Christ (Adonai Yehoshua HaMoshiach), is the one who represented G-d by leading the ancient Israelites out of Egypt [on behalf of G-d].

This is said in both the New Testament in Jude 1:5, and also in the poetic and at times cryptic prophet Isaiah 63:11-13, and 53:1.

Begin

Jude 1:5 reads as follows;

Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
Jude 1:5 ESV

[Note: It uses the name Jesus in this verse as it is applying the Messiah’s title and name on a post resurrection basis (verse 4; ‘…our master…’).

Prior the Messiah (as a created being),was known as Wisdom/Word (ref. Proverbs 8:12, 8:22-23 NASB, John 1:1 NWT).

More on this can be read here: The god Wisdom/Word, Messiah (Christ), Creation, Idolatry – (Hebrews 1:5-13 And Psalms 102:25-27 Explained – There Is No Trinity)

Where Is What Jude 1:5 Mentions Found In The Tanakh (Old Testament)?

The the being that became the man Jesus Christ much later on is referred to as G-d’s ‘…glorious arm…’ (ESV), nd the ‘…arm of the LORD…’ (ESV);

Then he remembered the days of old, of Moses and his people. Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put in the midst of them his Holy Spirit, who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them to make for himself an everlasting name, who led them through the depths? Like a horse in the desert, they did not stumble.
Isaiah 63:11‭-‬13 ESV

Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
Isaiah 53:1 ESV

How do we know that Isaiah 53:1 is speaking of the created being who eventually became Messiah (Christ) the man, as a G-d’s representation on this account (Isaiah 48:16 NIV, John 3:16 KJV)?

By reading and understanding the riddle of Isaiah 49:3 and 49:5 – verses which occur just prior to chapter 53;

³ He said to Me, “You are My Servant, Israel, In whom I will show My glory.”
⁵ And now says the LORD, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of the LORD, And My God is My strength),
Isaiah 49:3‭, ‬49:5 NASB2020

Brief Explanation Of Isaiah 49:3 And 49:5;

Here, ”Israel‘ is mentioned in each verse.

The first instance refers to the Messiah.

The second instance refers to the nation as does ‘Jacob‘, whom the first instance (Messiah; Christ) brings back to G-d by serving as High Priest in the order of Melchizedek (Psalm 45:7, 110:4), under the ‘new covenant’ (ref. Jeremiah 31:31).

The new covenant ultimately means everlasting life without end at resurrection (Isaiah 28:16, 28:18, Ephesians 2:20, John 3:14-16 KJV) for all who believe in G-d and him (Isaiah 50:10, John 14:1).

Hoping it is fruitful with you.

May the Holy G-d bless you beyond maximum believing in His risen Son the Lord Jesus Christ (Adonai Yehoshua HaMoshiach). Amen.
